Sesquicentennial: Robert Frost at 150
Join the Robert Frost Society and the Library Foundation San Diego for five days of poetry workshops, talks, and readings to celebrate the 150th birthday of Robert Frost, born March 26, 1874.
All events are free and open to the public.Morning events (Workshops and Roundtables) will be held at UCSD's Park and Market at 1100 Market Street. Afternoon and evening events (Keynote Talks, Lectures, and Readings) will be held at the San Diego Central Library at 330 Park Boulevard.
The Sesquicentennial will kick off on Wednesday with a catered reception. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, participants are invited to register for one Poetry Workshop and/or one Roundtable, to be held in the morning at UCSD's Park and Market. Each Workshop and Roundtable spans all three days and will be led by distinguished poets and scholars. The Workshops are capped at 12 registered participants, each of whom must be at least 18 years of age. The Roundtables are capped at 22 or 30 registered participants, depending on the location. In the afternoon, we will move to the San Diego Central Library for a series of lectures, readings, and book signings. Sunday will close with two special events honoring Frost. If you would like to attend a three-day Poetry Workshop and/or Roundtable series on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday mornings, you must also register for your chosen event.

Park & Market:
Park & Market's onside parking garage is located at 1100 Market St., San Diego, CA, 92101 and will be open Monday-Friday from 7:30am - 3:30pm and on Saturday from 7:30am - 11:30am. With validation at check-in, parking will be $15 for the day.
As the Park & Market parking garage fills, the parking attendant typically directs guests to the nearby Padres Parkade (440 Eleventh Ave, San Diego, CA 92101). San Diego Central Library: Parking at the San Diego Central Library (330 Park Blvd, San Diego, CA 92101) will be available for event participants. With validation, parking will be $18 for the day. Guests may also validate for two free hours of parking and then pay $1.25 for each 20 minutes beyond that.
