Welcome to the Robert Frost Society

Since our founding in 1978, the Robert Frost Society has offered educational and scholarly programs to sustain the legacy of Robert Frost and encourage broad appreciation of the humanities. From our headquarters in the San Diego Central Library, and through affiliations with the American Literature Association and Modern Language Association, we seek to reach a varied audience.

What We Do

■ Publish the peer-reviewed journal The Robert Frost Review ■ Support acquisition and preservation of special literary archives and collections ■ Support groups preserving historic sites devoted to Robert Frost
■ Organize panels and seminars held annually at the American Literature Association Conference and the Modern Language Association Conference ■ Support established and aspiring poets through writing workshops and lectures ■ Award the Lesley Lee Francis Prize for special achievement in professional scholarship devoted to Robert Frost

Our Partnership with the Library Foundation San Diego

Since 2019, the Library Foundation San Diego has headquartered the Robert Frost Society in the San Diego Central Library.
